Austria is a fabulous place to go on holiday - lakes, mountains, fresh air, beautiful scenary, places to visit, outdoor activities.

Chalet Austria has access to properties to rent across Austria, in the following locations:

St. Wolfgang. The wonderful village of St.Wolfgang, famous for the operetta 'The White Horse Inn' is located on the picturesque lakeside of Wolfgangsee, approximatley 50 minutes from the centre of Salzburg. 

Strobl. The picturesque village of Strobl lies at the most easterly end of the Wolfgangsee. A nice selection of shops and restaurants. Enjoy a walk along the promenade or around the Bürglstein.

St. Gilgen. The picturesque village of St. Gilgen lies at the most westerly end of the Wolfgangsee. It is the home of Mozart's mother and sister.

Bad Ischl. The Spa Town of Bad Ischl lies at the heart of the Salzkammergut. Full of history (it is where the Austrian Royal Family used to come on holiday), this town offers some wonderful shops including the famous Cafe Zauner.

Dachstein-West. High up in the Dachstein Mountain Area of the Salzkammergut, are the villages of Gosau and Russbach. For skiers, these villages give you access to the huge ski area of Dachstein-West. Many kilometers of piste for all abilities along with many cross country routes through the valley. For a change, in winter Gosau offers spectacular horse drawn sleigh rides. Something for all the family.
